Zante of as it’s known in Greece Zakynthos is the 3rd largest
of the Ionian Islands and covers an area of 158 square miles. Holidays in Zante
are a firm favourite with holidaymaker's from Europe and especially attracts visitors

The island is named after Zakynthos, the son of a legendary Arcadian chief Dardanus. It has some of the best beaches of the Greek islands, and some very sheltered bays, some only accessible by boat.

Zante or Zakynthos is the third largest Ionian island being about 158 square miles

The island has varied coastline and stunning scenery, from rolling hills
to charming olive and citrus groves. The beaches vary from long and sandy to rugged,
rocky and shingle beaches.
The major resorts are all well served by either shingle
or sandy beaches and the size of the island.
The hottest and most popular months to
visit Zante are from May until September, the temperatures reach up to about 32°C
in the months of July and August. To fly into Zante you must choose Zakynthos Dionysios
